  I just had a thought about the new KH design

  i've been trying to figure out the purpose of the new (bland, commercial style) building that the gb is pushing.

  it is not a design that attracts attention, nor does it offer a lot in future resale value.

  it will be more difficult to build than the wood residential style buildings, meaning they can't use their cheap unskilled labor force for a lot of the work.

  so i just watched the singing cart video.

  i literally cannot describe how i felt watching that.. growing up as a jw was serious business.

  we had to take the preaching work seriously, watch our conduct, give a good witness by our actions, and be on our best behaviour to ensure we made it through the great tribulation.. when i was a child, i had dreams of being a cartoonist.

  i just started to watch the february broadcast when i noticed a metallic rattle over the drone of sam's voice.

  (does that man speak with a mouth full of chowin' tobacco or is he choking on the rubbish he reads off the autocue?).

  HOW EXACTLY does god communicate with or direct the GB?

  we're all familiar with the organisations claims (and have seen the flow diagrams in books and mags) that the gb is "directed by god".

  in turn, the local elders are "directed by god".

  so, how exactly do they suppose this happens?

  i wanted to start a thread with correct explanations of what witnesses really mean when they say stuff... please add to it!.

  "we missed you at the last meeting" = "where were you?

  why did you miss a meeting!?".

  "Here brother territory overseer, I am through with this territory." = "I found this in the bottom of my purse where its been for three months."

  "Using my new tablet to show people JW. Org is so effective!" = "Thank God I don't have to think and listen to people say anything any more."

  Is the building a "tilt up" design like Patterson? the outside walls are concrete that is poured and then tilted up into place. This makes for extremely fast and commercial usage. The interior can be arranged according to use. Just wondering if anyone knows if the building is a concrete exterior wall construction.
